Westminster FFA took 5 members to Cal Poly Pomona.Congratulations to our FFA Lions! Westminster FFA received 2nd place in the Southern Region FFA Program of Activities Competition and 1st place in the Website Competition!

8th Grade Parent Night

8th Grade Parent Night was so parents and their student could see the different programs, classes, and sports we have at Westminster high school. Representing Westminster FFA was the Executive team who proved that FFA was the was to go in high school. We met wonderful students who can not wait to be apart of the Westminster FFA family!   

Heritage Field day

Westminster FFA took three very energetic teams to Heritage field day.The teams are three B.I.G students, two Vet Science students and four Veg Crop students. The team all did there best in there respective areas and our very own Regino got 9th place for veg Crop as an individual and veg crop team placed 4th for best team.Great job teams keep it up.  

Westminster Tree Lighting Ceremony

On Monday December 2nd the Westminster FFA went to city hall to see the Tree Lighting Ceremony. The leadership team had fun at the event. There were many different performances from our own Westminster choir to the S.H.O.E program.

Westminster FFA 2017 Fall Festival

OC/C Compitition

2017 Orange Section Leadership Lock-in

Westminster Police Department

We visited the Westminster Police Department to advocate to the new Chief of Westminster about what we do at Westminster FFA and the learn about the importance of the Westminster Police Department.

OC Fair "Table of Dignity"

Westminster FFA Officers attended the unveiling of the Agricultural Workers Memorial "Table of Dignity" at the Orange County Fairgrounds. We were proud to represent FFA by speaking to many attendees and listen to the special words from all the speakers. We are proud of the agriculture in OC

B.I.G Orange Section Results

On Saturday February 25, 2017, Westminster FFA Chapter took 3 students to participate in the Orange Section FFA B.I.G.(Best Informed Greenhand) Contest at Sonora High School. Freshman students are tested on the aims, purposes, and history of the National FFA Organization. We are pleased to announced that our FFA BIG placed Second Place as a team, with high individuals: Trang Vo- 1st Place High Individual, Roland Hipolito- 6th Place High Individual.

National FFA Week

From February 20th-24th, Westminster FFA celebrated the National FFA week recognized by FFA Chapters all around the Nation! Throughout the week we held exciting events such as a Hay bale Race, Trivia, and other lunchtime activities. Followed up with a DJ and Kiss the Goat Fundraiser taking place on February 24th as well as Country Clubbin' from 8-11PM! We kept the spirit rolling for FFA for the entire week. 

Westminster FFA freshmen win B.I.G. at regional event

January 21, 2017

On Saturday, January 21, the Westminster High School (WHS) Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter participated in the Norte Vista FFA Field Day. The Lions took part in different competitions including Veterinary Science, Floral, Vegetable Crop Judging, and “Best Informed Greenhand.”  Best Informed Greenhand, otherwise known as B.I.G., is a competition exclusively for freshman-aged students that tests their knowledge of FFA’s history, purpose, and structure of local, state, and national organizations.  Westminster’s freshman did an outstanding job as they were awarded third place in the competition. Congrats, Lions!

FFA Unites

This year Westminster FFA will be celebrating National FFA Week BIG. FFA will UNITE with other clubs and organizations on campus to have a successful FFA Week Celebration.
